    Hi satyamji,

    can you tell me,is employee eligible for graduity if organisation is winding up its operations in the month of completion of 5 yrs of his working span?

    Yes, employee will be eligible for gratuity.He was eligible when he completed more 4.6 year with his organisation. In any employee works for excess of Six month in a calender year , it assumes to be one year hence come under the meaning of .the continuous working.
